Have you ever known someone who had such infectious joy that you felt it at your very core? Who left such a delightful imprint on you, that all you wanted to do was to be around them? Who made you feel like you were the only other person in the world, and they had no other desire than to enjoy your company?
What if I told you your Heavenly Father feels this way? What if he wants to shatter your paradigm of how you see him and let you know how crazy he is about you? Would you believe it?
Jesus said that in His Father’s house are many rooms, and that he would go prepare a place for you. What if he was speaking of a special “room” for you, a place in the Father’s heart? A place of wonder. A place of sheer delight- where you and he can be together and there is nothing else more important to him than being with you. Time stands still. Worldly pleasures lose their meaning. All you see is his eyes of love, sparkling with joy, that you have given him a priceless gift that only you can give- your love back to him.
Take comfort today in knowing this place is available to you at any time. His delight never ceases, his love for you never fails. His eyes of affection are shining upon you like a warm ray of sunshine in a beautiful meadow. Soak this in, and you will never, ever be the same.
