The Waters of Love

“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised.”

…“If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
John 7:37-38

Do you know what Love is? Do you understand its power? To heal? To produce life? To transform the most hopeless of situations?

When the Lord beckons us to come and drink, it is more that a simple knowledge of his salvation. When you drink of this- when you drink of Him, what flows into you is a life-giving infusion of His true reality for you. Your identity in Him. A liquid love which opens your eyes to the beauty within. It is the refreshing waters of his acceptance of you. Pure joy and delight- that his how he feels about you. This is the glorious, exhilarating, and nourishing truth he wants you to experience.
