I see a white two-story house with dark shutters. There is snow on the ground. I enter through the door in an empty foyer, with dark brown wood floors. In the kitchen there is a lone woman resting her head on the table. Deep in sadness. Feelings of grief, pain, loneliness can be felt. She hits the table in anger, and wonders where God is in all of this? Why does she feel so alone?
She then looks up and out the back window. The sky turns from dark gray to a shining sunny blue. The clouds dissipate. She steps outside onto the patio, the snow melts, the trees start to bloom, and the grass springs forth. Friends and family start pouring through the back yard, carrying food, dancing, and singing. She starts singing and twirling, dancing with joy. Happy people are carrying new furniture into the house, and much laughter and joy is heard.
I hear “Family bonds will be strengthened. Where you have felt alone, I am bringing new hope. New friends. New relationships. Joy, peace, laughter, singing, dancing, and abundance. Sunny skies. The dark winter is over. Rejoice with me, my beautiful one! The terror of the night is no more. Let my light be your light. I will turn your mourning into dancing. Endless joy is yours for the taking.”
I see a cityscape, a man driving a red sports car downtown. His hand is on the shifter, and he keeps looking back into the rearview mirror. Dark creatures appear and are flapping about to his right and to his left. He keeps swatting at them, squinting, straining to look forward toward where he is going. He brushes off the negative words and the doubt, the accusations.
He moves his hand with trepidation toward the gear shift, amidst a sea of voices telling him he’s not good enough. This will never work! You will fail. You always have. What do you think you are going to do differently this time? Will all the strength he can muster he trembles and moves the gear shift into gear one last time and pushes the gas to move forward. The tall buildings to his right and to his left appear to be closing in on him, the way gets narrower and narrower. Suddenly in front of him appears two massive bright glowing angels each facing one another with their backs against the closing buildings, holding open a passageway for the man to drive through.
As he comes forward, the angels are braced in the shape of a giant glowing heart as his car passes through them. He escapes the city, and a cloud of smoke is seen in his wake, as the city collapses on itself in darkness. The camera angle pans as he rockets out in the open straightaway. Mountains can be seen in the distance and a brilliant glowing crystal city. His car is battered and worn, and some would wonder how it even is still operating. As he speeds toward the eternal city a tear falls from his eye and he catches a glimpse of a large golden hand that has been filling his fuel tank this whole time. Sustaining him moment by moment. Solidifying and powering the motor of his dreams.
I hear “The darkness is no more. Only endless peaceful joy and light. The night is gone, and the day has come. Your dreams are not in vain, son of the most High God. Lift your head and look toward the Heavens. Remain steadfast, as I the Lord am the one who helps you. Stand strong.”
Let light be your compass. Let joy be your guiding light. the seas may get stormy and rough, but I am raising a company of people who know me as their north star. No matter which way they turn, they can see me. They have learned to turn inwardly to my joyful presence because that has become their power source. Their source of delight, and worth. These ones are radiant, because they behold the glory of the Risen Lord. They understand that at anytime they may look and see where I am. Because I am within them. They know that I am forever joyful. I am their Redeemer. I am their Morning Star. No evil can touch them, because they know who they are. They know they are filled with my Spirit. With my life. With my Mind. With my Hope. With my Love. With ME. These are the Overcomers. They are ones who have been overcome by my Love, and their deepest desire is to remain in the awareness of this Truth.
