I was awoken in the middle of the night last night and the Holy Spirit gave me a word about rest that I would like to share with you. I pray it is a blessing and it floods your soul with joy.
“Entering into rest is more than a one-time occurrence. It is a way of life. A way for you to enter into union with me, and realize all of your needs are not only met, they are met WITH ME. I am your rest. I am your satisfaction. I am the answer to every need that you have and can meet each one abundantly.
Entering this rest means giving up your ideas and notions and allowing me to fill your mind with myself. Only this is true rest and peace. Rest is enjoyment of me. Enjoyment of my company. Fellowship. The satisfaction of knowing you are fully loved and enjoyed by me and that I am ecstatic to see you every time you come. It is the thrill of this realization that will intoxicate you and tether you to my realm.
This is when you begin to realize who you really are and where your home is. You are not of this world, and as such you have a different power and food source than most understand. On the earth, death is the ruler. Death is consumed, and it is worshipped. Am I a God of death? Or of life? One cannot consume of me and not be imparted with life because that is the very essence of who I am. Take rain for example. Try to go out in it and not get wet.
Fulfill your desires in me and with me. You were designed to have me as the endpoint of all satisfaction. I am the end. I am the beginning. I am what you are looking for and the only one that will satisfy your thirst.”
