Weightless

Let your mind rest on Him today. Let Him fill you with his eternal effervescent peace. Let your worries slip away.

Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. Let Him have every single one of them.

Even the ones that seem like enormous mountains. He can carry it. Allow yourself to rest.

Wait here, in this moment. Rest in the eternal bliss of His loving presence. Let your fear fall away as His perfect love envelops you.

Release your burdens into His arms. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Yesterday’s failures are gone. Today’s anxieties are dissolved. None of it matters in the presence of the Prince of Peace.

His light showers over you, radiates through you, searches the innermost parts of your being and evicts any last thoughts of darkness that would separate you from His glowing affection.

Let his love overwhelm you. Let it saturate you.

Allow yourself to be nourished by Him. Let go of your unworthiness. You don’t need that anymore. He has deemed you worthy of his love.

A gentle song washes over you, a whisper of adoration. A tune of sweet embrace, singing “You are my treasure, My delight. All I see is you.”

You were worth it all.

Won’t you let Him in? Won’t you let Him carry your burdens? Even the deep dark secrets you think are too heavy, or too miniscule for Him to worry about?

Let Him have it all.

Experience the lightness that results from letting it all go, into his arms.

Let this be your reality today and every day. Suspended weightless in the river of pleasure.

Be filled with the glorious hope that you never have to leave this place.

This is where He wants you to be.

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities;
upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.”
