Don’t Give Up

I feel like many in this season are feeling the weight of oppression lately. I know I have.  A barrage of internal voices saying, “Just stop, you’re not good enough.” Or “Who even cares. Why are you even doing this?”. Maybe you feel a looming feeling that you’re going to fail, no matter what you do. That nothing you do ever comes to fruition, so why even try? You might be wondering how you can escape this prison of your own mind.

I want to encourage you today, you matter. Every step you’ve taken to get where you are today was a tremendous victory. Even though it didn’t feel like much at the time, behind the scenes, massive pathways of light were being created and weaved as a result of your obedience.

Let the weariness fall off you. The Prince of Peace is ready, willing, and able to take it from you. Receive a fresh infilling of hope, love, and joy- let your cup overflow with his radiant brilliance of adoration for you.

Please don’t give up. Take one more step, even if that’s all you can muster. There are people just around the corner desperately waiting for you. Waiting for a messenger of Hope, someone who can infuse them with the atmosphere of Heaven. A life-giving drink directly from the River of Life that the Father of Glory has so graciously given you the honor of carrying for Him.

There are people who need you more than you will ever know. Your smile, your sense of humor, your servant’s heart. You don’t even realize it, but just the peace that flows from your eyes is a healing salve that will touch more lives than you can comprehend. You were worrying about what to do, what to say, or if you were even good enough, but the Father designed you to be a vessel and a carrier of his transformational presence even just by “being” you!

Take heart this day. You are precious, you are powerful, and you are immeasurably treasured beyond what you could ever imagine. You are royalty, and in you, the Father is well pleased.
