Have you ever tried to capture the rain? Or a rushing river? Can you contain it? Can you create or destroy it?
Water goes where it wants to. It sustains life and destroys it. It is made of two of the most explosive substances known to man. But we can’t live without it.
Full of power and life, and yet gentle and refreshing. Life cannot survive without it. Nothing can stand against it. Nothing can control it.
The voice of God is described in the Bible as the rushing of many waters. Uncontainable. Uncontrollable. Unstoppable. Unlimited power. Unending potential to create and sustain life. A cascade, a life-giving infusion of the ultimate magnitude. The ultimate cleansing. The ultimate refreshment. Nothing can stand in its way.
When you call on the LORD Most High, THIS is the voice that beckons to your call. The flood will respond. Anything that is not rooted in Him will not stand. His water is so powerful, so immeasurably unrelenting that it will search out the very depths of your soul to sanctify every part of you.
Many hesitate to call upon the Many Waters because they are afraid of Him. Afraid that the rushing waters come out of anger or for the sake of destruction. But the truth is the polar opposite. The many waters are the very words of our Father, the pure substance of the Force of Love emanating from Him.
This life-flow, the very origination of our souls, seeks to restore that which has been broken. To restore the broken, the false systems of imprisonment must be destroyed, even inside our own minds.
Take heart, oh you weary, in this dark and drawn-out season where much seems like turmoil. Darkness is upon the face of the deep, as the Spirit of the Living God hovers over the face of the Waters. It is in this darkness that that voice of the Many Waters reverberates a retuning vibration, a returning to that which once was. That which Will Be.
Don’t be afraid of that which is being sifted and seemingly lost in this time. You are being prepared for something new. Something beyond anything that’s ever been seen or even conceived.
Come, let us call upon the Voice of Many Waters. We will not be afraid.
“His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.“
Revelation 1:15
